Dear Colleagues,

The Korea Trade Research Association (KTRA) plans the special issue of Journal of Korea Trade, which is SSCI listed journal since 2007. We are inviting submissions of papers to a special issue of the Journal of Korea Trade dedicated to the theme “Toward Asia : Its Cooperation for Sustainable Development”. The Special Issue welcomes new interdisciplinary research as well as traditional trade areas such as trade practice, trade theory, foreign direct investment, trade disputes and arbitration, international management, service trade, international logistics and distribution, customs, etc. Submissions on other topics will also be considered. Please note that the Special Issue is in conjunction with KTRA 2020 World Conference of International Trade and Business Scholars & the 1st JeJu Global Business Summit, which is scheduled to be held from August 19-21, 2020 at Maison Glad Hotel in Jeju island, South Korea.  

Therefore, the special issue can ask for a presentation at this conference. Priority consideration for publication will be given to the conference invited papers. All submissions must comply with the Journal's guidelines on the submission of manuscripts. The Special Issue will be managed by Professor Hwang, Yun-Seop of Kyung Hee University as Guest Editor and its committee. All paper submissions must be received by 19 July 2020. Also, it is required to apply for participation by 31 March 2020. After the date, the paper submission should be made following the JKT regular process. All submitted papers will undergo the usual peer-review process, managed by the guest editorial team. Thank you.

한국무역학회는 영문학술지 Journal of Korea Trade의 특별호 (2020년 9월 예정) 발간을 준비하고 있습니다. 금번 특별호의 주제는 “Toward Asia: Its Cooperation for Sustainable Development”로 신보호무역주의를 극복하고 우리나라의 새로운 성장 동력을 발굴하고자 기획되었습니다.

금번 특별호 투고 논문은 2020년 8월 19일-21일 제주도에서 개최되는 한국무역학회 세계학술대회 및 제1회 제주 글로벌비즈니스 서밋 포럼’에서 발표할 기회를 제공할 예정입니다. 발표 논문에 대해서는 심사 우대 혜택이 주어집니다.

특별호에 투고하는 연구자께서는 Journal of Korea Trade의 논문 투고 및 제출요령을 준수하셔야 합니다. 제주 국제학술대회 특별호 세션에의 발표 신청은 3월 31일이며, 논문 심사를 위한 최종 원고 마감일은 7월 19일입니다. 제출은 newktra@naver.com으로 해주시기 바랍니다.
